I'm extremely stupid and didn't commit as I go. To anyone reading this I'm extremely sorry. A lot of these changes are very broad and I plan on releasing Babel 6.0.0 today live on stage at Ember Camp London so I'm afraid I couldn't wait. If you're ever in London I'll buy you a beer (or assorted beverage!) to make up for it, also I'll kiss your feet and give you a back massage, maybe.
babel-plugin-transform-undefined-to-void
Some JavaScript implementations allow undefined to be overwritten, this
may lead to peculiar bugs that are extremely hard to track down.
This plugin transforms undefined into void 0 which returns undefined
regardless of if it's been reassigned.
Example
In
foo === undefined;
Out
foo === void 0;
Installation
$ npm install babel-plugin-transform-undefined-to-void
Usage
Via .babelrc (Recommended)
.babelrc
{
"plugins": ["transform-undefined-to-void"]
}
Via CLI
$ babel --plugins transform-undefined-to-void script.js
Via Node API
require("babel-core").transform("code", {
plugins: ["transform-undefined-to-void"]
});
